CEL-FI GO Honored as Stevie Award Winner in 2017 American Business Awards

Nextivity Inc. was named the winner of a Silver Stevie Award in the New Product: Telecommunications category for CEL-FI GO in the 15th Annual American Business Awards today. Stevie winners will be presented with their awards on June 20 in New York

CEL-FI GO addresses cellular coverage needs in mobile environments for nomadic applications, or for indoor settings where a cellular signal is unable to pass through the building structure. This latest offering, built on Nextivity’s award-wining CEL-FI Smart Signal Booster technology, is available in two versions: CEL-FI GO M for mobile cellular coverage; and the CEL-FI GO X for indoor/outdoor installation.

According to one of the judges, CEL-FI GO is an “interesting product and personally I would love to use one!” Another judge noted that CEL-FI GO “effectively addresses the pain area of many telcos and cell phone users.” Yet another noted the product’s value for “machine-to-machine data transmission needs in remote locations.”

“When it comes to cellular coverage, many things can stand in the way of a consistent signal, from the elements and building structures to inconsistent signal strength when on the move. Even where there are nearby cellular towers, coverage can be inhibited by building materials, surrounding hills, or metal interior walls,” said Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “CEL-FI GO addresses this unmet market need, with a wide range of applications. We are thrilled that our latest offering has been recognized as a game-changer, with increasing adoption in industries including oil and gas, fleet management, and agriculture.”

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20. Tickets are now on sale.

More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
