Regional Sales Director, Central Region, U.S. Channel Sales

Summary

The Regional Sales Director for the Central Region will be responsible for the sale of Nextivity products through existing and new US channel reseller partners with emphasis on channel partner development and revenue growth. Also, this role will be responsible for identifying enterprise sales verticals in their respective region, the creation of a sales plan for each category, the selection of fulfillment partners for these categories and for closing and managing sales to these partners. The Regional Sales Director for the Central Region will carry a sales quota and be expected to expand Nextivity sales opportunities through existing and new channels. This role will work with our distributor sales teams to ensure reseller partners are well supported and Nextivity product sales grow a minimum of 20% annually. This role will report to the VP, Channel Sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry individual sales quota based on reseller sales to stocking distributors (POS) for the Central Region in the United States.
  • Develop working relationships with MNO enterprise sales teams in the central region to generate lead-flow and increase sales in the region. Keep an accurate CRM database of partners and track opportunities and unique successes.  
  • Actively seek new end-customer and channel partner candidates for the Central Region
  • Maintain regular monthly communications with the channel partners in region regarding products, policy changes, EOL status or other important and useful information.
  • Know the Nextivity legal documents, including the Distribution Agreement, Reseller’s Agreement, and other regularly used channel documents.
  • Develop and maintain channel partner qualification documents which help our local sales teams to identify and evaluate potential new channel partners.
  • Plan, organize, and manage Nextivity channel partner events as well as participate in the planning of those events.
  • Attend certain Nextivity sales meetings, trade shows or channel conferences.
  • Travel to meet and manage potential and contracted channel partners in region when required.

Other Duties Responsibilities

  • Acquire in depth knowledge of Nextivity’s full range of products and services and product roadmap and convey that knowledge to our partners, adhering to company messaging and positioning strategies.
  • Assist or manage negotiations of the Nextivity channel documents with our attorneys.
  • Other duties as defined and mutually agreed with the VP of Sales, CEO and other Nextivity team members.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Work Experience

  • 10 years of sales experience
  • Experience and past success in a quota-driven sales environment with a record of overachievement required
  • Proven in-depth understanding and excellent track record of successfully selling and managing a technology-based channel business
  • Successful inside sales experience utilizing channel reseller partners preferred
  • Experience selling technology products and solutions to the enterprise
  • Understanding the 360 sales process and cycles is required
  • Experience with sales pipeline (funnel) management is required
  • Experience selling cellular wireless products/solutions preferred
  • Experience selling cellular wireless in-building coverage or DAS (Distributed Antenna System) products/solutions is preferred
