Sr. Manager, Channel Management, NA Channel Sales

Summary

The Sr. Manager, Distributor and Channel Program Support, will report directly to the VP of Channel Sales and work from Nextivity headquarters in San Diego, CA. They will leverage their understanding of multi-tiered sales channels and Cel-Fi products to support Cel-Fi master distributors and manage the Nextivity Channel Partner Program across the Nextivity U.S. Sales Channel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Distributor and Channel Program Support is responsible for managing the launch and growth of the Cel-Fi Channel Partner Program to achieve success metrics. This includes managing and monitoring Nextivity channel pricing guidelines and adherence with all Nextivity Master Distributors and certified reseller partners. This role must manage and enforce all Nextivity channel partner program rules and guidelines. This role must direct lower tiered Nextivity resellers to appropriate partner support tools and provide information and direction to Nextivity lower-tier reseller partners to strengthen partner performance and promote to the next partner program tier. The Sr. Manager must develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Cel-Fi products and services. Developing an understand the territory, marketplace, and competitive offerings is a must.

Other Duties Responsibilities

This role must work closely with the Nextivity VP of Channel Sales in supporting the daily needs of Nextivity Master Distributors. You will act as a communication and information bridge between Nextivity Master Distributors and Nextivity cross functional teams to improve communication and help strengthen performance and partner relationships. This role will become an expert on every phase of the Cel-Fi sales cycle through a Cel-Fi certified partner channel. Other responsibilities might be assigned as needed.

Skills & Abilities

This Sr. Manager role must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation and product demonstration skills. This role must be proficient in MS Office and CRMs such as SFDC and must be comfortable speaking with technology decision-makers at all levels of a channel sales organization. This position must have the ability to operate as part of a team and collaborate with others while taking initiative. The Sr. Manager must use sound judgment when representing the Company and foster a professional attitude with a sense of humor while demonstrating integrity and flexibility.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training

Work Experience

  • 4+ years of channel sales experience in a sales and support role
  • Experience working in and managing channel partner programs
  • Background in wireless or telecommunications industry
  • Experience working for or with VARs and Sis
  • Experience working for on with Online Resellers of wireless technology products
  • Experience and understanding of DAS and In-Building Wireless products and solutions
  • Experience and understanding of Public Safety products and solutions
  • Knowledge of and experience with MNOs in the United States
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned objectives
