Nextivity’s CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 Wins 2020 BIG Innovation Award

Multi-carrier solution builds on years of engineering innovation

January 22, 2020Nextivity Inc. today announced its CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 in-building enterprise cellular system has been named a winner in the 2020 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group.

CEL-FI QUATRA delivers uniform, in-building cellular coverage for mid-sized enterprises (middleprise), addressing the challenges of poor voice quality, dropped calls, and dead zones in venues spanning from corporate buildings, mixed-use facilities, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, parking structures, and more. QUATRA is both FCC and carrier-approved, and, like other CEL-FI products, is guaranteed to be network-safe.

CEL-FI QUATRA 4000, which launched in October 2019, is the latest addition to the QUATRA family of products. The in-building enterprise cellular system is a multi-carrier active DAS hybrid designed and approved for use on all four major carrier networks (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint) in the United States. It provides seamless multi-carrier coverage from a single head end, making it an ideal solution for mid-sized enterprises. CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 is built on award-winning CEL-FI technology – Nextivity’s fourth generation Intelliboost chipset – and is the only product in its class on the market today that supports up to 100dB of gain.

“As an engineering company, innovation is in our blood,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “Every day since our founding in 2006, we’ve worked diligently to create solutions that solve the root problem of poor indoor cellular coverage, collaborating with carriers, regulatory bodies, partners, and end users. CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 represents the best of what we’ve achieved to date, and we’re not finished yet.”

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions.

“Innovation has become a major theme for organizations across virtually all industries and this year’s winners are a testament to the creativity, passion and perseverance of individuals worldwide,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Nextivity as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many.”
