Solution Architect

Summary

The Solution Architect will partner with the regional sales team, the engineering R&D team, the manufacturing team and local support team to promote sales, support testing, and ongoing use of Cel-Fi indoor mobile network coverage products. The goal for this position is to help drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer orders and increases profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team up with local sales staff members to support pre-sales efforts and product presentations
  • Collaborate with distributors, network operators, regulators, system integrators and installers to collect and validate technical requirements for products and product features
  • Work with national regulators where appropriate, with the aim of shaping regulation that is favorable to Cel-Fi products
  • Support customer acceptance testing and trials
  • Monitor customer feedback during new product introductions and provide timely feedback to engineering and product management
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to create and maintain accurate customer documentation, configuration guides and customization requirements
  • Develop, maintain and present training materials, including formal training courses and webinars
  • Work with HQ organizations to support
    • Product manufacturing and delivery
    • Product testing
    • Software and hardware development
  • Maintain close relationships with distributors, network operators, system integrators and installers to as to solicit early feedback about any issues with products or systems
  • Communicate effectively with IT, Engineering or other teams with early warning about problems
  • Provide ongoing support to distributors, network operators, system integrators and installers
  • Drive better sales through service
  • Drive quality and consistency

  • Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and have a positive attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Entrepreneurial, rapid learner, inquisitive, and persistent
  • Above average skills with Microsoft Office suite

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
  • Relevant industrial experience

Work Experience

  • Must possess at least five (5) years of experience working with mobile telephone RAN and mobile telephone equipment. Experience might be gained working with:
    • Cellular RAN infrastructure
    • Handsets
    • Indoor coverage products
    • Either at OEMs, mobile network operators or system integrators
  • Experience with engineering and installation of Cellular DAS Systems is useful but not essential
  • Combined background of system engineering, pre- and post‐sale support
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications such as test mobiles.
  • Understanding of In-Building Coverage Planning and Tools is useful but not essential

Travel Requirement

  • This position may require occasional multi-day and overnight travel.
