Nextivity announced today that it has been named a “Telecommunications Company of the Year” in the 12th Annual 2020 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards®. The coveted annual Golden Bridge Awards program recognizes and honors the world’s best in a variety of categories. Nextivity was recognized for delivering solutions that provide cellular coverage for the middleprise market, and gaining traction around the world with new products, partners, and use cases over the past year.
Over the past year, Nextivity marked new product milestones with the launch of innovations across the CEL-FI product line. The core enterprise in-building cellular coverage segment grew with the introduction of the CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 active DAS hybrid, and later with Nextivity’s first fiber-based solution. Strategic expansion of public safety communication solutions included the introduction of CEL-FI QUATRA RED, the first all-in-one Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement System (ERCES) that delivers in-building coverage for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and FirstNet-ready devices. The CEL-FI SOLO and CEL-FI GO smart signal boosters continued their product growth with operators and partners to solve cellular coverage problems for voice and data for small businesses and in residential areas.
Nextivity continued to expand its reach into local and federal government contracts through its growing partnerships. Key market growth areas also included corporate offices, warehousing, healthcare, hospitality, apartment complexes, and education. The demands for public safety and emergency response communications peaked due to pressure placed on hospitals, long-term healthcare facilities, and pop-up emergency response centers amid the pandemic – with each benefiting from new mobile communication solutions. COVID-19 prompted a massive shift in the population relying on home office and home-schooling options, resulting in the skyrocketing need for residential cellular coverage solutions. Nextivity partnered with operators, integrators, and building owners to deliver the coverage solutions the global market required.
